Ashoka is one of the most famous emperors of world history. However, the findings of this article would point out that there are two emperor Ashokas in Buddhist history. Historians have made a very big mistake of clubbing both of them into one. The date of Buddhism would have to be pushed back by more than a thousand years because of this. Not just this, a large portion of the world historical timeline would have to rewritten and changed.
