Many municipalities are replacing chlorine with chloramine for water purification. Potentially, this is a dangerous step because chloramine is largely untested, but it is persistent and long acting including in human tissues. The problem is that most existing water filters cannot remove chloramine. There are solutions to find out if you are getting chloramine in your water and to remove it.
