Life for a new teacher can be terrifying, a new school, new staff members, new students, maybe a new home you have just moved into, and more. I am sure that students don't think of this when they start acting up in the classroom. They just see the new teacher with a target on their back! So what can be done? Other members of staff may help you to establish yourself at the school, but you have to gain the respect of the students, something that is often easier said than done!
